Approach
During my education and formal training as a speech-language pathologist, I was well equipped with evidence-based research and a wide range of assessment tools and intervention methods to assist my clients.
During my clinical practice, it became clear that there is much more to consider and incorporate during the evaluation and treatment of each individual in order to maximize progress and success in therapy. Every person is unique and may face distinct barriers related to his or her needs.
A person's lifestyle, family support, values, and belief system are critical considerations in therapy. These factors should be incorporated into family and caregiver support, education, and involvement from the initial phases of treatment. This holistic approach provides greater benefit and encourages flexibility, creativity, and personalization in treatment.
Personal Interests
I love to travel and learn about different nationalities. I find it intriguing and fascinating to learn about other people's cultures, norms, behaviors, and lifestyles.
I also enjoy reading, learning, healthy cooking, movies, theatre, walking, and spending quality time with family, friends, and associates.
